Townhome Remodel in Charlottesville
This townhome remodel is a property investor's dream. Take a 1975 townhome in Charlottesville that has barely seen a paintbrush in 20 years, gut it and add modern improvements and you end up with a real gem. That's what we did with this project in 2006. The renovation includes all new Brazilian Cherry engineered hardwood floors that were glued down to the concrete slab-on-grade. We removed all of the walls surrounding the kitchen so that the kitchen and dining room were turned into one great room. The kitchen, living room and dining room boast natural Cherry cabinets with solid surface tops and Hard Rock Maple bar tops. The living room and dining room have built-in Bose speakers with pre-wiring behind the walls for surround sound and broadband internet for downloading HD movies onto the wall-mounted HD TV. The improvements upstairs include a new laundry room in the hall between the two bedrooms with built-in cabinetry, a beautiful master bathroom renovation with wall-mounted cabinets and glass vessel sinks top off this whole-house renovation.
