Popeye’s Franchise Restaurant Renovation
TBS Construction performed this fast-track franchise restaurant renovation in less than three months from start to finish. TBS Construction met with the owner in mid-April of 2011 to discuss Roanoke's first Popeye's and started work in the first part of May with a Cost-Plus contract, incomplete plans and only a demolition permit in hand. Our scope of work required us to remove the one-and-a-half stories above and return the structure to a single-story building. The work after that involved all new interior renovations and an exterior facade to meet Popeye's strict design standards. Our original completion date was to be July 28, 2011 but the opening date was successfully moved up to July 15th during construction. That's just two and a half months from start to finish with incomplete plans and permits.
